Craft Brewery
Here is what you can expect upon academy completion:

  • Exposure to all aspects of the Institute for Brewing & Distilling (IBD) Brewer content, in preparation for their exam

  • You will have the skills & knowledge to enter just about any craft brewery with experience in all facets of its operations.

  • For current Brewers - you will develop a greater depth of knowledge than can be achieved only by OJT & online / book learning; You will collaborate with many Florida breweries and brewers  - developing further as a professional.

Here are the main points you need to consider:

  • You will be expected to provide your own PPE

  • You will need your own tablet/laptop that connects to wi-fi

  • You should have a strong background in Science, math & Brewing

  • You must be self-directed - there are outside readings & research throughout.

  • You will be expected to purchase some brewing textbooks to supplement classroom instruction
